Critical Sythe Build - "A/D Disciple of Death" - Help needed
I have 3 very diferent but very similar builds. LINK TO BUILDS
But I need help because I can't deside:
1. If one is much better than the others.
2. If there is a way of incorporating Way of Perfection with Whirling Charge.
3. If they are all good, should I post them seporatly or as varients?
I'm also looking for your constructive critisism so give it to me strait but with some thought if you know what I mean.

Wearying Strike + Assassin's Remedy is a nice combo, hadn't thought about putting that on my Crit scyther. I'd go with the middle one, but swapping out Crippling Sweep for Reap Impurities. Crippled in PvE isn't all that useful, and the extra damage against foes suffering from either DW or bleeding will be great.
You've got a nice 67% critical chance there, good melee defence, and regular health increase, not to mention a good DPS even before attack skills. Overall, I'd say that looks like build with good staying power, although you should still watch out for incoming spells.

That is actually a very impressive build... probably the best melee build I've ever seen without an IAS. I'd drop way of perfection and the shadow arts spec, I'd also drop critical defenses. I'd put in critical eye and um... oo malicious strike (yeah just saw that one browsing skills)
I'm usually very critical about any build that doesn't have ias but wow, this is a pretty good build.

I like that skill a lot . Awsome responces and I've added an IAS vairient because some people just don't use em without an IAS.
However I have to disagree with you when you tell me to take out way of perfection and critical defenses as they are integral parts in the survivability of this build. (Critical Defenses more than Way of Perfection)
Edit: ok now i've chaged it quite a lot to fit in with all the new changes (so if you did not see this edit before then look again please)
Edit2: Yes I did get caried away then didn't I..... sory.

asssasin's promise is defiantly nice, i had a build that involved it, worked much better than the dervish builds i used for scythes.
Those 3 builds are pretty sweet, found out about malcious strike awhile back, seems like an awesome skill..

While Assassin's Promise is a nice skill, it is also an eliet and so there are many other skils that could be used instead to greater effect.

Way of the Assassin and Whirling Charge wouldn't really work well, as they're both stances. I'd rather have Malicious Strike instead of Whirling Charge.

Good catch, that makes choosing the build even simpler.
Edit: That varient is still in there.
Edit 2: Thanks for making a profile just to comment on my build and welcome to the board.

I'm more of an all out damage guy, pve is easy, if your monks are worth a flying **** (which they will be since you can make a good monk hero) you don't need defense.
I'd run:
16 crit, 12 scythe
Wearying Strike
Malicious Strike
Chilling Victory
Assassins Remedy
Sharpen Daggers
Critical Eye
Way of the Assassin
Rez Sig
Use either a zealous of vamp scythe I don't know at this point depends what energy is like.
This gives you a 16+37+7+20 = 80% (or slightly less since its prolly not that simple) and wearying strike + assassins remedy is just a sweet combo. Malicious strike is just amazing in this build. Since malicious strike and wearying strike are only 5 energy and this build will rack up insane amounts of energy if hitting multiple people you can use the wonderful chilling victory to do massive damage.

Chilling Victory... That one will sap energy fast.
I'll add it to varients anyway.

I like the idea very much. Scythe seems like an ideal weapon for critical build since it has the highest maximum damage but the damage range is wider than barn door. With that high a critical chance it could potentially outdamage even pure dervish (or maybe not if the dervish uses some form of damage boost).
Anyways good thinking Robin.
